I became a professional cake decorator when my son asked for a "Superman" cake for his 6th birthday. I checked everywhere and nobody had a Superman cake - nor could they bake one. I finally found a supermarket bakery that agreed to "do something" - I was so excited! When I went to pick up the cake, it was a sheet cake with the letter "S" stuck on top. That was it? Disappointed, I left. I promised myself that I could do a much better job - and nobody deserved such poor service and quality!I enrolled in cake baking and decorating courses - and since 2006 I have been baking and decorating professionally - and loving it! I enjoy cake decorating because I can express myself artistically in a very unique ways.
My cake decorating style ranges from fun and whimsical to classy and elegant. I want people to express themselves in cake, making their special event the talk of the town. Each cake should have its own personality. And that is where I come in! I take great pride and care in baking and designing a dream cake to be just as individual as you.
